Happy Birthday Lydia!

What a great day we had yesterday, celebrating Lydia's birthday!!
Every year, I tell my girls the same thing: " you are fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well"!
I am not sure if they are tired of hearing it or not, but I can't help myself proclaiming God's truth over their lives ,especially on their birthdays!
I am blessed!

I made her a Norwegian Strawberry Cream Cake. ( Bløtekake) We all agreed, it turned out great!

James did not have any, because he is not here yet...
But, Dominic really enjoyed it....

Be blessed!

Do you want to make God laugh?

Do you want to make God laugh? Tell Him your plans!

He has such a good, deep laugh..He must, because He has listened to so many of my plans...and cracked up!
Then He lets me wait, and when things happen in His perfect timing, I thank Him ,and say thank you for not listening to me!!!

This was one my many thoughts today....
I am still waiting .....
James, you will be here in God's perfect timing....

Be blessed!

Lena's birthday

Happy Birthday to you Lena!!
You are wonderfully and fearfully made!! Ps.139
Enjoy your time in OS.

James:

James has his own agenda, and that is perfectly OK..
I sense nothing but peace, and a quiet joy!

The word today is "immediately".
In Matt.14:31 it says:" Immediately, Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him (Peter) " Oh, you of little faith, why did you doubt?"
Jesus did not hesitate one second when Peter cried out "Lord , save me!" He did not try to teach him a lesson, by letting him sink to the bottom...he CAUGHT him before he disappeared.
I can't count the times I have been caught...He has never let me "go under", because He always responded to my cry for help!

Be blessed!

May 21. 08 Still waiting on James.

Today is a good day to be born James!!

I carry my cell phone in my hand like a "growth", so afraid of missing THAT call!
But , he will come when he is good and ready!

I was reading about Peter today! It is so amazing how we talk about Peter like the man who always failed. It is so not true!!!

He did walk on the water, how else would he have gotten back in the boat? He sunk "just a little", how is that possible? You either sink, or you don't! Now, that is to me a huge miracle!!

But he denied Jesus 3 times, you say. Yes, he did. BUT, he repented, and wept bitterly. He was forgiven!!

Jesus chose him to feed His sheep, and he sure did.

His shadow healed people, do I need to say more?

Be blessed today!

My First Blog!

Hello Everyone! My daughter Lydia convinced me this was a much easier way to keep in touch with all of you so I have created this blog to keep you updated on all my "happenings". My website page is still in full use so don't forget to check it out on a regular basis. However, this blog will be used for personal contact with all of you. I also like the idea of being able to post pictures and even videos of my grandkids! Below is my most recent entry on my webpage so I thought I'd share it here, too.

It is amazing how fast one month goes by! My last greeting to you was from Norway, and Benjamin was just born! He is doing well, smiling and kicking and bringing a lot of joy to his Mom and Dad ! (and to his sister Isabell, of course!) Now, I am waiting on James Scott Ingegneri!

I read from 1 Chr.16: 34 this morning, and it says that God's mercy endures forever! I am so glad that He provides GRACE for each day, and this provision will last forever. Every day, every step, every situation, every challenge...He will provide new mercy! While we wait...we get what we need...rest today in His mercy, because tomorrow there is fresh supply!!!

I welcome you James... you are scheduled to be here tomorrow!

Be blessed!
